- Artist's note: The Trained Human Show is a mashup of disparate source imagery, including illustrator J. C. Leyendecker's Strength and Service Turning the Wheel of Progress and a circa 1920 Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus poster
- Made with pen-and ink, watercolor, colored pencils and touches of other media with sgraffito (scraping) on white clay-coated paper
- Image measures 12-1/4 by 12-1/4 inches (as shown, sheet slightly larger)
- Created in July 2021
- Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG) and dated "2021", left/center; signed again with his full name and inscribed with the title on the reverse
