- Made with oil over an acrylic underpainting on a canvas panel surfaced with vintage (1941) newspaper, mounted to a 3/4-inch deep cradled wooden panel
- Image measures 9 by 12 inches
- Date and provenance: Originally painted and sold to a private collection in 2012; acquired by the artist via bequest, mounted to panel and extensively reworked in oil, August 2021
- Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG), upper right; signed again with his full name, dated and inscribed with the title on the reverse
