• Made with acrylic over a ground prepared by layering torn fragments of gold metal leaf over red paint, on two canvases stretched on wooden bars; varnished
• Each canvas measures 12 by 9 inches
• Provenance: Painted and sold by the artist to a private USA collection, 2007; re-acquired by the artist from the original collection in 2025
• Signed by the artist with his monogram cipher (PG) within each image; inscribed with the title, dated and signed again with his full name on the reverse of each canvas
