"Above it All" is an original acrylic painting on a cradled panel framed in a 22k gold leaf frame by Philip Gladstone
- Artist's note: "Above it All" was loosely based upon a circa 1902 photograph by Wilhelm von Gloeden, which in turn was likely inspired by the 1836 painting "Young Male Nude Seated Beside the Sea" by Jean-Hippolyte Flandrin
- Made with artist's professional acrylic paints on a 3/4 inch deep cradled wooden panel
- Framed in a 2-1/2 inch wide custom made wooden frame leafed in 22k genuine gold; antiqued, distressed and patinated by the artist for Above it All
- Painting measures 10 by 8 inches
- Overall framed size is 14-1/2 by 12-1/2 by 2 inches
- Created in October 2021
- Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG) and dated "2021", lower right; signed again with his full name and inscribed with the title on the reverse
