Color's Embrace
• Color's Embrace is a riff on La Fraternité, a monumental 1883 relief sculpture by by Aimé-Jules Dalou (French, 1838-1902)
• Made with artist's grade acrylic on an MDF panel cut into the shape of an artist's palette, mounted to recessed strainer bars; the palette appears to "float" approx. 1" from the wall when hung
• Measures 15-1/4 by 11-1/8 inches (7/8" deep)
• Created in 2026
• Signed by the artist with his monogram cipher (PG) and dated "2026", lower left/center; inscribed with the title and signed again with his full name on the reverse
