Inspired by a circa 1840's photograph by the pioneering Scottish painter-photographer team of Hill and Adamson (last image above)

• Autumn is an original mixed-media painting on panel by Philip Gladstone
• Made with acrylic and mixed-media on arch-shaped cut archival paper mounted to a 3/4-inch deep cradled wooden panel, varnished (glass is not necessary to frame & display)
• Image measures 12 by 9 inches
• Created in November 2020
• Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG), lower right; signed again with his full name, dated and inscribed with the title on the reverse
