Artist's note: "Art Wars" is a mashup of Horace Bristol's iconic U.S Navy photograph "The Naked Gunner, Rescue at Rabaul, 1944" with details adapted from Picasso's "Guernica" and Munch's "The Scream" — and an anxious dog along for the ride

• Made with pen-and-ink, watercolor and watercolor pencils with Windsor & Newton pigment markers and touches of white acrylic on Arches 140 lb. cold-press watercolor paper
• Image measures 12 by 10 inches (as shown, sheet slightly larger)
• Created in March 2020
• Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG) and dated "2020", lower center; signed again with his full name and inscribed with the title on the reverse
