- Artist's note: "September Reverie" began as an intended straightforward study after a circa 1883 photograph of an artist's model by Anglo-Belgian painter and sculptor Jacques de Lalaing, and evolved over several painting sessions into the work presented here
- Made with artist's professional acrylic paints on a stretched linen canvas
- Framed by the artist in an American Impressionist ("plein-air") style wooden frame, featuring a warm silver-colored metal leaf with a hand-rubbed, antiqued patina
- Painting measures 16 by 12 inches
- Overall framed size is 23 by 19 by 2 inches
- Created in November 2021
- Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG) and dated "2021", lower left; signed again with his full name and inscribed with the title on the reverse
