"Abbraccio" is an original acrylic painting on cradled panel with an artist-embellished custom frame by Philip Gladstone
- Artist's note: Abbraccio was inspired by, and loosely based upon, a circa 1885 photograph by Wilhelm von Gloeden
- Made with artist's professional acrylic paints on a 3/4 inch deep cradled wooden panel
- Framed in a handcrafted, closed-corner metal leafed wooden frame; the frame was heavily distressed, patinated, waxed and hand-rubbed by the artist to compliment Abbraccio
- Painting measures 14 by 11 inches
- Framed size is 20-1/2 by 17-1/2 by 1-1/4 inches
- Created in December 2021
- Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG) and dated "2021", lower left; signed again with his full name and inscribed with the title on the reverse
