  • After "The Awakening" by British painter Solomon Joseph Solomon (1860–1927); the inscribed text is after a monologue by Prince Hamlet in William Shakespeare's play Hamlet
  • Measures 11-3/4 by 15-3/4 inches at widest points; 'floats' approx. 1" from wall when hung
  • Created in April-May 2023
  • Signed by the artist with his monogram cipher (PG), lower right; signed again with his full name and inscribed with the title on the reverse
