"Reverie" is an original acrylic painting on a cradled panel framed with 22k gold leaf by Philip Gladstone
- Artist's note: "Reverie" was based upon a circa 1885 photograph by Wilhelm von Gloeden in the Getty Museum collection
- Made with artist's professional acrylic paints, with iridescent gold acrylic paints within the border that surrounds the tondo, on a 3/4 inch deep cradled wooden panel
- Framed in a handcrafted, closed-corner wooden frame; hand-rubbed seven layer antiqued finish in warm grey/black, with carving and 22k gold leaf
- Painting measures 12 by 12 inches
- Overall framed size is 16-1/2 by 16-1/2 by 1-3/4 inches
- Created in November 2021
- Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG), lower center/right; signed again with his full name, dated and inscribed with the title and "After Wilhelm von Gloeden" on the reverse
