- This is a study by Philip Gladstone after a celebrated 1909 oil known as The Horse's Bath, by Spanish painter Joaquín Sorolla (1863-1923)
- Made with acrylic on a prepared (surfaced with gessoed Arches paper) cradled wooden panel, finished with UV-filtering archival varnish
- Framing option: Distressed French white Plein air-profile frame measuring 13-3/4 by 16-3/4 inches overall (framed by the artist to order, ships in 2-3 weeks)
- Image measures 12 by 9 inches
- Painted in April 2021
- Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG) and inscribed "After Sorolla", lower left; signed again with his full name and dated on the reverse of the work
