"Breakout" is an original framed mixed-media work on paper by Philip Gladstone
- Made with charcoal, white chalk, pen-and-ink, ink washes and sgraffito (scraping), tinted with touches of Windsor & Newton pigmented markers and Holbein colored pencils, on gessoed Stonehenge drawing paper
- Framed by the artist in a champagne silver wooden frame from Larson-Juhl, with a custom-made mat surfaced with Stonehenge paper (the same paper the work was drawn on) that features a warm silver wooden filet; all materials used are archival (acid-free); glazed with Optium Museum Acrylic
- Handmade title plaque in Sterling silver plate, stating the artist's name, title and date of the work
- Image measures 16-1/2 by 12-1/4 inches (sight size, sheet slightly larger)
- Framed piece measures 23-3/4 by 19-1/2 by 1-3/4 inches
- Created in 2021
- Signed by the artist with his monogram (PG) and dated "2021", upper right; signed again with his full name on the reverse of the work
- Inscribed with the title, dated and signed again on a label affixed to the verso of the frame
